Adding Value with New Technology

Marne, MI (November 10th, 2014) – DeWys Manufacturing Inc., a West – Michigan based metal solutions company, is pleased to announce the addition of new equipment to their manufacturing capability.

A state of the art WDM plate roller and a Hydmech saw were recently installed at our 90,000 square foot manufacturing facility near Grand Rapids, MI. The plate roller is a CNC four roller machine that can form sheet metal, as well as steel plate up to 3/8’ to 4’ wide and create a variety of shapes based on a customers requirements. This new roller decreases the run time for each part by 50%. The new band saw, a M-16A automatic scissor style band saw, has miter cutting capabilities for heavy duty applications. It will miter from 90 degrees to 60 degrees. This will increase efficiency by 50% due to bundle cutting capabilities.

These technology advances will continue to add value and grow their capabilities for all our customers. This will also help DeWys better our lean manufacturing focus. By maintaining the right machines along with the right production process, we can continue to guarantee an overall exceptional experience.
