DeWys Hires Second Generation to Fill Buyer/Supply Chain Position

Marne, MI (May 18th , 2015) – DeWys Manufacturing Inc., a West – Michigan based metal solutions company, is pleased to announce the addition of Andrew DeWys as our new Buyer.

He will become the second generation in the family business, continuing a 40 year tradition in precision sheet metal fabrication. In his new role, Andrew will be responsible for the Supply Chain, which includes purchasing, supplier selection, and other supply chain activities.

Andrew graduated from Davenport University with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. While in school he had a supply chain internship where he worked on material flow and 5S projects, along with creating an inventory analysis on how to maintain proper stocking levels. Andrew’s passion for metal fabrication began at DeWys Mfg. with experiences in shipping/receiving, inventory control, as well as various materials and continuous improvement projects. These experiences and his appreciation for the family business will make him a great asset to the DeWys Manufacturing team.
