DeWys Manufacturing Inc., your complete metal solutions company is pleased to announce the addition of Kim Emery as the Quality Manager. With a shift in the leadership team, Kim will be taking Lance Fisher’s role in overseeing the quality team to ensure the finest quality products delivered to DeWys Manufacturing’s customer base.
In her new role, Kim will be performing all internal and external ISO audits as well as establishing and continuing to improve PFMEA. She will also be managing all PPAP submissions along with communicating to DeWys team members and customers on quality processes or areas of improvement. This transition in positions enables Lance to now be DeWys’ Continuous Improvement Manager full-time. He will be facilitating and coordinating all lean activities throughout the company. This includes coaching, development and training of all team members for a productive work environment.
Prior to DeWys Mfg., Kim received a degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Grand Valley State University. After graduation she pursued a career that totals 13 years of experience with quality in the manufacturing industry. Managing a DeWys team is a new and exciting role for Kim. “I am looking forward to taking what I know and mentoring DeWys team members to be the voice of our customers and their quality expectations.”
In her spare time, she enjoys quality time with her family, cheering on the side lines at either soccer or basketball games, and supporting her daughter’s girl scout troop. If you can’t find her there, Kim is most likely scrap booking, couponing, or tending to her garden. With her knowledge and years of experience in manufacturing, the team at DeWys Mfg. is looking forward to advancing the quality expectations for our customers’ requirements.
