    Turret Operator – 2nd Shift

    • Responsibilities will include program selection and control operation, deburring parts while in production, performing secondary operations as required on punched parts
    • Prefer experience with an Amada Turret
    • Need to have great communication and critical thinking skills
    • Must be able to pass Turret training.

    Automation Operator – Weekend Shift (1)

    SUMMARY

    Monitors automation equipment to ensure they are meeting or exceeding set goals for production and quality standards. This will entail the following  processes  Grinding, Spot weld, Press Brake, CNC mill, Paint, General Machine, Material Handling, ect. Reduce manual labor cost by converting processes over to automation or improving processes.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (Other duties may be assigned)

    Will work in conjunction with the team leads to ensure the machines are achieving established goals. Will work in conjunction with jigs and fixture / Innovation department to ensure the fixtures needed for the jobs are adequate to meet production needs, quality requirements and repeat-ability standards. Will work injunction with estimating to ensure we can achieve cost effective quotes to meet processes. Will work with estimating / Scheduling to identify potential / future work to keep automation equipment busy.

    • Create and maintain consistent clear set up instructions.
    • Conduct off line programming for the equipment
    • Will need to have a flexible schedule to achieve the green light time measurements
    • Program management. Create programs needed for the process using a standard method and any logic needed for the set up
    • Calibration of equipment. Weekly or daily if needed calibration completed to maintain accuracy of the equipment to help maintain the accuracy of the programs
    • Condition of equipment. Monitor and maintain working condition of equipment to ensure that it is in proper use. Ensure the condition of our machines are maintained. Work injunction with maintenance to ensure equipment is maintained in the correct condition

    Communication Skills

    Will need to have clear and effective communication skills to help promote and deal with situations, morale and team building. Will need to completed or have completed some communication training.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with 5 or more years experience in manufacturing, preferably metal fabrication; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Leadership training. Will need minimal of 3 years’ experience in the specific area.

    Manufacturing Engineer

    SUMMARY

    Evaluates manufacturing processes to find cost reductions through automation, manufacturing design changes, and lean manufacturing techniques.

    JOB DUTIES:

    • Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
    • Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.
    • Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
    • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
    • Evaluates opportunities to implement automation to current process.
    • Manage automation and cost reduction projects from initial concept, design, project management, assembly, and implementation.
    • Work with teams to improve manufacturing process and teach team workers new standards.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Familiarity with sheet metal practices and equipment
    • Experience with robotic automation
    • Knowledge of CAD design (SolidWorks preferred)
    • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Fixture and robotic tooling design experience
    • PLC programming and wiring experience a plus
    • Welding experience a plus

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university or five years related experience.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Needs to be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Needs to be able to write routine reports and correspondence.  Needs to be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

    Laser Operator – 2nd Shift

    • Responsibilities will include keeping the laser equipment running by loading/unloading material for team members in the cutting department
    • Must be able to pass laser training
    • Must be able to maintain a hilo license
    • Need to have great communication and critical thinking skills

    Team Supervisor – 2nd and Weekend Shifts

    Currently have openings for 2nd shift value streams and the weekend crew

    • Responsibilities will include:
      • Overseeing production of the value streams
      • Work closely with team members to increase skill set, improve morale, and provide assistance as necessary
      • Perform team member reviews and implement disciplinary action as needed
    • Must have previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Must have good written and communication skills
    • Must be able to work with a variety of team members, management, and customers

    Press Brake Operators – 1st & Weekend (1) Shifts

    Looking for a press brake operator on both 2nd shift and day shift for the weekend crew.

    • Learn how to operate a Bystronic Press Brake through the DeWys University training program
    • Must have math and blue print reading skills
    • Prior experience in operating a press brake is preferred
